It’s Friday, Yippee!! A busy weekend planned here, and most exciting of all is a bit of Stampin’ with a lovely group up the coast in Paraparamu on Sunday!
Today’s project is one I demonstrated at my catalogue launch back in July using the Wildflower Meadow stamp and coordinating embossing folder, plus a touch of Washi Tape!
The other little touch I LOVE about this card is the Simply Pressed Clay Flower – I coloured it and then brushed on a coat of Crystal Effects which is what gives it that lovely shine!
Have a great weekend everyone and GO TEAM NEW ZEALAND!! Bring that America’s Cup back to NZ!

It’s time for a little sneak peek at a stamp set from the upcoming Holiday Catalogue! Perfectly You is a great Hostess Set featuring images for all holiday occasions.
This gorgeous little box was one of the projects we completed during Make ‘N Takes at our Home Office visit!
I love the little ‘bunting’ wrapped around the box! The handles and flags are created using the new Witches Brew Washi Tape, and can you spot the new Gold Foil paper?

Ink: Coastal Cabana
Other: Witches Brew Washi Tape, 1/2″ Circle Punch, Hearts a Flutter Framelit Dies, Big Shot, Linen Thread
How did it get to Friday again already? This week turned out completely differently to how I had it planned – 2 x sick kids will do that, but given the weather it was kinda nice just to hunker down at home with them and not have to do school/kindy run etc!
Today I am sharing one of the make n takes from my catalogue launch the other week. I love the new washi tape that Stampin’ Up! has released and it is GREAT for quick, no fuss cards!
We added a little scoring using the Simply Scored too which really just finishes the card off!
Stamps: Yippee Skippee
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Island Indigo, Whisper White, Gingham Garden DSP
Ink: Night of Navy & Strawberry Slush Stampin’ Write Markers
Other: Elegant Butterfly Punch, Bitty Butterfly Punch, Simply Scored, Gingham Garden Washi Tape, Rhinestones
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! We had a superb day yesterday taking Miss 6 & Miss 3 to watch Disney on Ice – Princesses & Heroes! As they are not able to join us on the trip to Utah, this was my little treat to thank them for all of their support with my Stampin’ Up! business – and they really are a big support to me!
Of course this week is shaping up to be a BIG week, as I head off to Brisbane on Wednesday morning to attend Stampin’ Up!’s South Pacific Convention! I can’t wait to catch up with all of my demo friends from around NZ & Australia. This year I have the added honour of being asked to present – eek! I’ll be updating my Facebook page with photos and details all week, so if you aren’t yet following me be sure to pop over and Like my page.
Last week I did a tutorial about making Faux Washi Tape for all those on my mailing list and this is the card I created to showcase my ‘washi’.
I have some posts scheduled for the week while I’m away, and depending on wi-fi access I may have a Convention post for you too!
