Shiny Birthday Gorgeous

Happy Monday!  We enjoyed a lovely weekend – one daughter had a friends party where she had a lovely time, and my older daughter had a ballet class with the Royal New Zealand Ballet which was a real highlight for her – it is so lovely to watch your children work hard at something they are passionate about!  I spend a lovely Saturday afternoon teaching a group of ladies all about the fabulous Embossing Paste – we used it in 7 different ways which shows just how versatile it is!  I will share that project next week, but today I wanted to share a project from a recent workshop featuring the gorgeous Foil Frenzy Specialty DSP – this paper really has to be seen ‘in the flesh’ to appreciate just how gorgeous it is!

Once again I CASE’d projects from the Annual Catalogue – anyone care to take a guess which page I copied? The card base is the DSP itself to show off all that shine and the Happy Birthday Thinlit die makes a great focal point!

I used the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits to create the pocket for the card – the DSP is Kraft on one side which gave me a great surface to stamp & embellish, with the awesome foil shine showing on the inside of the pocket!

Righto, I am off to create 2 male birthday cards (wish me luck for that one!) and also this months Colour Your World challenge card ready for the next blog hop!  Have a great week!

Stamps: Happy Birthday Gorgeous
Cardstock: Whisper White, Pool Party, Tangerine Tango, Berry Burst, Foil Frenzy Specialty DSP
Ink: Berry Burst, Pool Party, Crumb Cake, Basic Grey,
Other: Big Shot, Happy Birthday Thinlit Die, Mini Treat Bag Thinlit Die, Balloon Punch, White Bakers Twine, Circles Collection Framelit Dies
