Hugs & Kisses

Happy Monday – I can’t believe we are into to July already! We had such a nice weekend just relaxing and enjoying some time at home after a busy few months.  Everyone in the family has been home with colds at some point over the last week so it was nice just to be able to rest and get everyone back to full health for the last week of term.  I taught my monthly technique class on Saturday afternoon and the ladies who came loved getting messy with the fun shaving foam technique!  There is still time to book into the mid-week session of this class – it’s this Thursday at 10am.  Email me if you would like to book a spot!

I am just loving the new Lovely Words thinlits & Lovely Inside & Out Stamp Set.  It is really easy to overlook this versatile bundle in the catalogue, but I have found myself using it over and over – either the bundle as a whole or the stamps & dies separately.  On today’s card I have used the full bundle, but it’s really the thinlits that are the star of the show!

I used the Lovely Words thinlits to cut the window into my card front and then added a Night of Navy Mat on the inside of the card to really make the ‘hug’ POP!  To further accentuate the window I added a circle frame using my Stitched Shapes & Circles Collection Framelits – I love how all of the sizes coordinate and work together!  The stamp set then provided a bit of background and the rest of the sentiment.  This is such a sweet card and I suspect it will find its way into one of my daughters lunchboxes one day soon!

Stamps: Lovely Inside & Out
Cardstock: Powder Pink, Night of navy, So Saffron, Pool Party, Whisper White
Ink: Powder Pink, So Saffron
Other: Big Shot, Lovely Words Thinlits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circles Collection Framelits
