Yikes! What on earth am I going to do with this combo is what I have been asking myself all month while I quietly procrastinated making today’s project! In the end I decided to choose the Remarkable You stamp set and make something work with that – watercolouring to the rescue!
I was really happy with how the colouring turned out on this so decided to keep the rest of the card quite minimal so as not to detract from the main image. The strip of Razzleberry directly below the sentiment is just the off cut from the watercolour paper I stamped the main image on. I washed it with Razzleberry ink and my Aquapainter – it softened the bold colour nicely and just seemed to work better than a strip of solid cardstock. I finished off with the Blushing Bride Enamel Accents – in case you can’t tell these are my ‘go to’ embellishments at the moment!
If you would like to learn how to do this style of watercolouring, I will be teaching it at my May technique classes so keep an eye out for details about that!
